Honey Mask for Acne


Honey has antibacterial properties for reducing acne. It contains enzymes that will help to rejuvenate your skin making it look younger and softer.

The enzymes in honey breakdown fatty deposits on the skin helping with dry and scaly skin. Honey has anti-inflammatory properties that overtime reduces redness, acne scarring, and dark spots. Use honey with other remedies to make them more effective and easier to apply. The adhesive properties of honey will make remedies that would normally slip and slide on your skin stick and stay in place. This is also a downside to honey because it’s really sticky and messy. Use honey as spot treatment for pimples that haven’t fully formed yet to bring them to the surface. To get the best results from using honey as a home remedy for acne try organic. Warming up honey in a microwave for a few seconds then applying is another way to use it. Just make sure it’s not too hot.
