Don’t get into such a hurry that you don’t research home acne remedies.

Find out about what you are putting on your face and how it can effect your skin in the long term. Especially when trying out something that has multiple ingredients, research every ingredient individually to make sure that they are all safe to use. Look for information regarding people with a similar skin type as yours. Check to see how much of an ingredient was applied and if the ingredient needed to be diluted for safe use.

Start eating healthier foods and exercising. Even though there is no clinical research that links diet and exercise to helping with acne breakouts; it can’t hurt to start. Eating healthier foods and exercising helps to boost self confidence and energy levels. Exercising is a great way to relieve stress. It also helps to increase circulation and stimulate the lymphatic system. An increased circulation will likely decrease pimples in certain areas. For instance, cardio exercises will increase circulation to the upper cheeks causing less pimples to occur there. Stimulating the lymphatic systems means a boosted immune system. The body will more effectively get rid of toxins that could otherwise make their way to the surface of the skin and clog pores.

Prevent acne while you sleep. Get eight hours of rest every night, and keep your bed sheets and pillow cases clean. Wash your pillow cases three times a week and clean your sheets at least once a week. Don’t use a fabric softener when you wash your sheets. Fabric softener can be very irritating to acne prone skin.

Stay positive! Staying positive is a great way to reduce stress and keep problem pimples from showing up. Less stress means so many things to you overall health and well being.
