Add a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar (ACV) to a cup of green tea to get the benefits of both remedies. ACV has similar effects on acne as green tea, but it will also give the skin a balanced pH that keeps acne causing bacteriea from forming as much. As with the green tea face wash only use ACV and green tea a couple of times a week if you have average or oily skin or once a week if you have dry or sensitive skin. The ACV also makes the skin sensitive to the sun because it contains an alpha hydroxy acid so put on a sunscreen or moisturizer with SPF 30 or higher that wont clog your pores if you’re applying it in the daytime. Apply ACV and green tea at night so that the smell (ACV smells pretty bad) and the sensitivity will be gone by morning.
