The disease is still spreading and people are diagnosed with it on a daily basis.

There are three major tell signs of diabetes which you should be on the look out for, because watching for these signs could be the difference between life and death.

Thirst is one of the big tell signs of diabetes. People with high blood sugar in their system generally are always thirsty. There are also a minority who do not exhibit this symptom. The reason for this thirst is that when the body tries to filter excess sugar in the body, it tends to pass it out as urine. Since your body is constantly passing out urine, you will constantly be loosing water in your body. The body becomes dehydrated hence the thirst for water.

Another sign of diabetes is frequent hunger. Most food we eat into our body after going through its various processes converts to complex sugar. Since the body cannot readily convert and absorbs these sugar into energy, It looses it. This is the reason why after a meal, most people suffering with diabetes feel hungry. The sugar that is not converted to energy can easily damage the cells in the bloodstream. It can also damage the pancreas cells which regulates blood sugar in the body.

If the body is loosing sugar through water, it means that the patient will either be loosing lots of water through sweat or urine. Most often time, water from the body will be lost through urine. Passing frequent urine is the third most important sign you should watch for. Since the kidney is constantly releasing urine to get rid of the sugar, the patient will continuously be loosing water in the body.

Whenever you notice these signs, you should quickly consult your medical provider. Your medical provider will be able to let you know what type of diabetes you have and the best solution to tackle your problem.
